Why cremation?

Many of our customers say that they feel comfort getting their pets ashes back. It gives you the option to scatter them in one of their favourite places or take them with you, wherever you go.

What sized pets can you cremate?

We can cremate all pets from small budgies and hamsters through to large dogs.

Can the arrangements be made before my pet dies?

Many people contact us in advance. Your details are kept on file until you need us. We appreciate however that sometimes this can happen unexpectedly which is why we're available 24/7

Can I organise my pet's cremation through my vet?

Yes. Once you have decided that you want your pet to be cremated by Sleepy Hollow, please call us. We can then arrange everything for you. You can either bring your pet to us, or we can collect from your Veterinary  Practice.

Can my pet be collected from my home?

Yes. A number of our clients have chosen to let their pets spend their final moments at home and we can collect them at a convenient time.

Can I bring my pet to you myself?

Yes, you can either make an appointment in advance or give us a call before leaving your home or your veterinary practice.

How will my pet be treated?

As owners who have been in this situation ourselves, it's extremely important to us that your pet is treated like one of our own, with the respect and dignity they deserve.

What happens after cremation?

You can collect them from our premises in Cross Hands, we can return their ashes directly to your home, or to your vet, whichever option is best for you.

Should I choose a casket or scatter tube?

People tend to choose a scatter tube if are planning to spread the ashes in one of their favourite places. The casket tends to be kept at home.

How long does it take to return my pet's ashes to me?

Depending on how large or small your pet is, it can either be the same day or the following day.

How and when should I pay for the cremation?

You can pay for our services by cash or bank transfer. The payment can be made either in advance or on receipt of your ashes.

What hours are you open? What happens if my pet dies at the weekend?

We are open 7 days a week and can always open up our home, whenever you need us. You can call or email us at any time - it's very important to us that we can provide a service to our customers at all times.
